Former minister V Sunil Kumar expressed strong criticism of the decisions made by the Congress government, raising concerns over the inclusion of “failed leaders” in the school curriculum while neglecting the teachings of patriotic figures such as Veer Savarkar and Hegdewar.

He further said, “The Congress party may be attempting to rewrite history by including lessons on controversial figures like Tippu Sultan, Aurangzeb, and the ‘foreign leader Italy madam. If Kannadigas remain silent, the Congress government might even consider including lessons on individuals associated with the construction of Lulu Mall in Bengaluru and those accused in cooker blast incidents as part of the curriculum.”

“Protesting against these policies is crucial for the well-being of students and society at large. The Congress is diverting attention from pressing issues and seeking to impose its agenda on the state. The withdrawal of the anti-conversion Act was previously forewarned by me and poses a threat to the state’s interests,” he added.
