A native of Korawad village in Vijayapura district, the swami was also known as ‘Kannadada Jagadguru’ (Seer of Kannada). The mortal remains of the seer will be kept on the mutt premises to allow the public to pay homage. The funeral procession will begin from Tontadarya Mutt in Gadag at 11 a.m. on Sunday and the funeral will be held at 4 p.m.
