Earlier this year, a case was registered against Aishwarya at the Vijayanagar police station for allegedly defrauding a doctor couple of Rs 6.2 crore under the pretext of selling a second-hand luxury car. However, the Karnataka High Court has issued a stay on the investigation into this case.
Aishwarya Gowda is accused of posing as the sister of former MP D.K. Suresh to borrow 14.6 kg of gold worth Rs 8.41 crore from a jeweller. The incident has raised questions about her modus operandi and previous fraudulent activities.

The doctor couple expressed interest in purchasing a second-hand luxury car. Aishwarya convinced them to pay Rs 2.75 crore online and Rs 3.25 crore in cash, promising a high-end car at a discounted price. However, she failed to deliver the car and disappeared, prompting the couple to file a complaint.
Threats and Extortion Allegations
When the couple demanded a refund, Aishwarya allegedly issued death threats and warned them of filing a false rape case against them. She reportedly demanded Rs 5 lakh to drop the matter, extorting Rs 2 lakh from Dr. Girish.
Dr. Girish subsequently filed a complaint with the Vijayanagar police. However, the Karnataka High Court has temporarily stayed the investigation into this case.
