Addressing presspersons here he said, ” HD Kumaraswamy may remain as the Chief Minister or any other can come. I hope Kumaraswamy continues. The chief minister may change, but the government will not dissolve.”

” I am not bothered about the resignations of MLAs,” he added.

Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi resigned from the state assembly membership on Monday, July 1. Singh said he submitted his resignation to Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar. However, Kumar said he was not aware of any such resignation, adding that no leader contacted him.

Ramesh Jarkiholi also resigned from the state assembly membership and submitted his resignation to the Speaker on Monday. However, Ramesh’s resignation comes as no surprise and ends months of speculation about his future.
