Harihara: A day after Congress legislators Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi resigned from the Karnataka Assembly Congress legislator Satish Ramappa on Tuesday said that the Chief Minister of the state may change but coalition government will not dissolve.
Addressing presspersons here he said, ” HD Kumaraswamy may remain as the Chief Minister or any other can come. I hope Kumaraswamy continues. The chief minister may change, but the government will not dissolve.”
” I am not bothered about the resignations of MLAs,” he added.
Anand Singh and Ramesh Jarkiholi resigned from the state assembly membership on Monday, July 1. Singh said he submitted his resignation to Speaker KR Ramesh Kumar. However, Kumar said he was not aware of any such resignation, adding that no leader contacted him.

Ramesh and Singh’s resignation comes at a time when cracks seem to appear in the Janata Dal (Secular) and Congress coalition in the state.
