Groom dies of heart attack during wedding reception

In a tragic incident reported from Hospet’s Papinayakanahalli village, a groom died of a heart attack after complaining of chest pain during his wedding reception.

The deceased has been identified as Honnur Swamy (26).

Reportedly Swamy collapsed on the stage during the reception function due to chest pain. He was immediately taken to a doctor who advised to get him admitted to a government hospital. Swamy however died en route to the hospital.

Family members and relatives were grief-stricken at the turn of events during the wedding ceremony.
