Hearts melt as Puneeth’s daughter bids tearful adieu to her beloved father

Bengaluru: Emotional scenes ensued as power star Puneeth Rajkumar’s grieving daughter Dhriti arrived from the US on Saturday and wept on seeing the lifeless body of her father. Hearts of those gathered melted watching the daughter bid tearful adieu to her father.

Dhriti travelled on an Air India flight from the US to reach Delhi in the afternoon and then to Bengaluru in the evening. Under heavy security, she was taken to her Sadashiva Nagar residence and then brought to Kanteerava Studio.

Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai earlier clarified that Puneeth Rajkumar’s funeral will be held tomorrow (Sunday) at Kanteerava Studios with full state honours.

Fans were given a chance to see Puneet’s final darshan today and say their final farewell to the icon.
