Heavy rain in Kalaburagi; Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Jewargi delayed

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Jewargi  in Kalaburagi district on Friday has been delayed due to rain.

Gandhi arrived at Kalaburagi airport at 12 pm from Mangaluru, following this, he was scheuled to leave for Jewargi but due to inclement weather, he could not come to the venue at the scheduled time.

It is reported that plans are being made for the leader to arrive at the venue by car.

Congress leaders Randeep Singh Surjewala, K.C. Venugopal, Siddaramaiah and D.K. Shivakumar will be present.
