Heavy rain predicted in coastal Karnataka and 7 districts

Bengaluru: Heavy rains are expected in various districts of Karnataka, including the coastal regions.

The weather department has issued an orange alert for seven districts: Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Belagavi, Kalaburagi, Vijayapura, Yadgir, and Shivamogga, indicating the likelihood of heavy downpours on Sunday.

In addition to these, Dakshina Kannada, Bagalkote, Raichur, and Chikkamagaluru districts are also expected to receive rain, with a yellow alert issued for these regions.
