I-T raids at former minister K. Gangadhar Gowda’s properties

Belthangady: Revenue department officials raided the house of former minister K. Gangadhar Gowda on Monday morning.

Sleuths of the Income-Tax department reportedly raided Gowda’s properties including his house at Indabettu, Belthangady. Searches were also conducted at the educational institution run by him.

Gangadhar Gowda had been an aspirant for the Congress ticket for Belthangady but had withdrawn after Rakshit Shivaram was given the ticket.

Property in the house and records of the college were reportedly inspected in the presence of a police team.
