Illegal manufacture of firecrackers; four held

Puttur: Four persons accused of manufacturing firecrackers illegally with the use of explosive materials were arrested from Mudnoor village, Nettanige here on Monday, December 23.

T Babu, T Kali Raj, Narendra and M Kamala Kannan are the arrested persons.

Puttur rural police registered a case under IPC section 286 and 98(A) Explosives Act 1984.
