The district administration has declared a holiday for all Anganwadis, primary and high schools (classes 1 to 10) in the district on Monday, August 29 as a precautionary measure.
The Bengaluru-Mysuru highway has been closed due to waterlogging at Ramanagara. Vehicles moving between the two cities have to move via Huliyurdurga on the Magadi route. The traffic police installed a barricade near Adigas Hotel in Maddur for diverting the traffic to Bengaluru.
