The World Book of Records in London certified Kiara for having a specific ability to read non-stop 36 books in 105 minutes at the age of 4 years on February 13 and called her a ‘child prodigy.’

One of Kiara’s teachers at a nursery school in Abu Dhabi spotted her passion for reading.

Kiara loves to read as she likes to see the colorful pictures in the book. Her favorite books include  Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, and Shooting Star.

According to Kiara’s parents, Kiara spends most of her time reading, and that over the last year she has read around two hundred books.

Denying that the child was pushed into setting this record, Kiara’s mother, Dr. Little Mahendra said that Kiara used to read all the time, while in the car, even in the restroom, and before going to bed.

Telling about why she loves reading from books and not on other devices, Kiara baffled us with her answer that reading from books is extremely enjoyable and that one can carry books anywhere. The problem with reading on phones or watching videos is that she can’t read if there’s no network.

Kiara is a US citizen born to Chennai-based parents. She aims to become a doctor.
