Currently, in an interview, she has spoken about her future in the cinema industry. Here are some questions, she has answered.
What do you have to say about ‘Kantara’s success?
“The reason for the success of ‘Kantara’ is the people of Karnataka. We had no plans of going pan-India. But after the Kannadigas began showing the movie to their other language friends, the demand for dubbing the movie in other languages began catching pace. After receiving love and affection from other languages, we decided to go pan India.”

“I’m going with the success flow of the movie. I had never thought that I would get such a big career break, that too in Sandalwood. It’s all because of love and affection from the people. It’s luck and God’s blessings that I’ve become a pan-India actress.”
Appreciation that you received for your role
“I’ve received a lot of appreciation from people, especially, for speaking in Mangaluru Kannada in the movie. Many have told me that they felt that I spoke so fluently that it made them think that I was born and brought up in Mangaluru and not Bengaluru. The efforts that I had put in have paid off.”
Have you got offers from other movies?
“Yes, I’ve received a lot of offers. But I’ve decided to go slow and steady. I’ve waited for a movie like Kantara for a year and a half. I’ll wait for upcoming offers until I get a good one.”
Any offers from other film industries?
“Yes, I’ve received but I want to do more movies in Kannada and explore different roles. I’m not well-versed in other languages, except English and Kannada. I will think about it when I get a good offer from other industries”.
