Mandya: BJP National General Secretary and legislator C T Ravi said that like Datta Peetha, justice will be served to the Srirangapatna Hanuman Temple which is claimed to be Jamia Masjid.

Addressing the gathering during the “Jan Sankalp Yatra” on Friday he said, “The next election is between Tipu Sultan and Mysuru Wadiyars. Wadiyar dynasty has contributed to Mandya and not Tipu Sultan. Tipu is not the ‘tiger’ but people like Urigowda, and Dodda Nanjegowda. BJP leader C P Yogeshwar and I will install their statues here.”
Lambasting the JDS party, Ravi said, “They say that grandfather sacrificed his chair for his grandson and mother sacrificed for her son. This is not called sacrifice but selfishness. People should teach them a lesson.”
