Kadaba: Boy bit by rabid dog; Irked locals lynch canine to death

Kadaba: A boy was bitten by a dog, suspected to be rabid, when he was returning home from Madrasa in Kadaba.

The injured boy is identified as Afghan, son of Hameed, resident of Kadaba.

When Afghan was returning home from Madrasa a dog, suspected to be rabid, pounced on him and bit his hand.

The locals rescued the boy was given primary treatment at the Kadaba Community Centre. He was later taken to a hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment.

Following the incident the dog was lynched to death by the locals.
