Hombale Films recently released a poster, announcing their search for talented artists to join the cast of ‘Kantara Chapter-1’. The audition process attracted thousands of aspiring actors, and Rishabh Shetty, along with his team, is now gearing up for the commencement of filming.

‘Kantara’ narrates the compelling tale of daiva in Tulunad, and the prequel is expected to delve into the story of the Panjurli in the same region.
Actor-director Rishabh Shetty is approaching the production of the ‘Kantara’ prequel with caution, ensuring utmost respect for the customs and beliefs of Tulunad and its daiva throughout the filming process.

Swamiji Vajradehi Shri of Vajradehi Mutt in Mangalore extended an invitation to Rishabh, who visited Daiva Kola. During the visit, discussions revolved around the upcoming movie ‘Kantara’, with Mahishandaya offering his support and encouragement.

In light of past incidents where individuals misrepresented themselves as daivas, leading to disrespectful displays, Rishabh Shetty is exercising prudence to avoid any such situations during the production of the ‘Kantara’ prequel.
