The scheme covers power looms up to 20 HP and up to 500 units per month, with rates set at 1.25 per month, benefiting both small and large weavers.

The implementation of this scheme is expected to cost the government around 140 crores, and it is seen as a step toward addressing the state’s electricity challenges.
