During a question and answer session, BJP’s N. Ravikumar raised the issue, highlighting Minister Chinchurani’s statement about the poor quality of Nandini milk in Karnataka.
Minister Venkatesh clarified that there have been no lab reports or complaints received regarding the rejection of Nandini milk quality in Kerala. Ravikumar requested that a media statement be issued affirming the good quality of Nandini milk and urged the Karnataka government to send a delegation of officials to Kerala to address the concerns. Minister Venkatesh assured that the request would be fulfilled.
For the past 10-12 years, Karnataka Milk Federation has been supplying an average of 2 lakh liters of milk daily to the Kerala Co-operative Society “Milmas.” The recent statement by the Kerala Minister came as the Karnataka Milk Federation started selling Nandini products along with milk for the first time in the state.
