Karnataka: SSLC results declared; Pass percentage falls to 71.80%

Bengaluru: Education Minister S Suresh Kumar on Monday, August 10 declared SSLC results. The overall pass percentage recorded this year is 71.80%. The pass percentage has dipped this year compared to last year. Last year the overall pass percentage was 73.7 percent, informed Suresh Kumar. A total of six students have secured full marks this year- 625 out of 625. Last year, the same was achieved by two. Here's the list of student who scored 625/625 this time: Sannithi Mahabaleshwara Hegde - Sirsi Chirayu - Bengaluru Nikhilesh Murali - Bengaluru Dheeraj Reddy MP - Mandya Anush -Dakshina Kannada Tanmayi - Chikkamagalur A total of 1,550 schools scored 100 percent pass percentage this year, which includes 501 government schools, 139 aided, 910 unaided. The result of the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) SSLC exam has been declared. The result will be available online at kseeb.kar.nic.in and karresults.nic.in. Step 3: Submit your roll number and other required details Step 4: Verify the details Step 5: Your Karnataka SSLC Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen. Step 6: Download PDF and save it for future use. Despite strong demand for postponement of the examinations due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Karnataka government decided to conduct the SSLC or the Class X board exams. The SSLC exams started on June 25 and continued till July 3 in about 3,000 centres across the state. About 8.5 lakh students registered for the exams. Candidates who are not happy with their marks can apply for rechecking. Those who have flunked in a subject or two can apply for the supplementary exam. The supplementary exams are usually held in June, but this year, the dates are yet to be announced.
