Bengaluru: A wife of a senior KAS officer allegedly committed suicide by hanging in her house in Nisarga Layout in Shivamogga.
The deceased has been identified as Suma(42), a lecturer working in the District Institute of Education and Training centre.
As per sources, Suma and her husband lived with her mother and brother.
On Tuesday evening Suma returned from work and directly went to the washroom. When her mother checked on her 30 minutes later, she found the door locked. They broke open the door to find Suma's body hanging from the ceiling fan.
A case in this regard has been registered with the local police.
