KSRTC introduces new fly bus services linking KIA and Selam

Bengaluru: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) on Monday introduced Fly Bus services from Selam and other neighbouring cities that find it difficult to make to the airport in Chennai. With the increasing number of passengers from Selam and its neighbouring cities that travel 200 odd kilometres to Kempegowda International Airport instead of 350 odd kilometres to Chennai, KSRTC has introduced Fly Bus services to the cities. The service was inaugurated by the Transport Minister H.M. Revanna.

On Monday, KSRTC has also introduced flybys services to Madikeri. In good response to the first services of 6 Fly Buses from KIA to Mysuru, KSRTC had increased the number of buses on the route to six. Later, two buses were introduced from KIA to Kundapur via Manipal.

The new Fly Buses introduced to Selam offers services which includes on board toilet for passengers, increased leg room, passenger information system on flight timings, 2+1 seats etc., the fare for the services including GST will cost from 800 to 1000 rupees.
