K’taka CM launches 5th poll guarantee ‘Yuva Nidhi’

Siddaramaiah-led Congress government in Karnataka on Tuesday, December 26 launched the 5th poll guarantee ‘Yuva Nidhi’ offering unemployment assistance to graduates, and diploma holders who passed this year.

Registration for the scheme will begin on December 26.

The scheme will provide Rs 3,000 allowance per month for unemployed youth with a graduate degree, and ₹1,500 allowance for unemployed diploma holders, both in the age group of 18 to 25.

Eligibility clauses:

Applicant must have six months of graduation in the academic year 2022-23
Applicant must not be in higher education or any employment
Applicant should possess either a degree or a diploma.
