K’taka govt warns officials of stringent action for not being punctual

Bengaluru: The Karnataka Government in its circular issued on Monday, has warned the officials about punctuality and absence during work hours.

Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma had issued a circular directing the officers and staff to be at the office by 10 AM.

Officials shall be available during office hours and in case of going out, the supervisors shall be informed, read the circular.

She has said that even after issuing circulars repeatdely based on punctuality, irresponsible behaviour was observed.

Meanwhile, the Chief Secretary has warned of stringent action against such officials and staff, henceforth.
