More than who incurred loss? Or who incurred profit? The moviegoers were confused and wondered on how come this situation occurred in our industry too? The tulu cinema world decided on that day itself that henceforth, such an incident of two movies releasing on the same day should not occur in Tulu cinema. But, it is again getting proved that everything is not alright in Coastalwood. This is so because, once again, two movies are getting ready for release on the same day.
The long-awaited Devdas Kapikad’s ‘Era Ullerge’ and Mayur Shetty’s directed ‘My name is Annappa’ which has created much curiosity in the industry are expected to release more-or-less on the same day. Both the film teams have decided to release their movie on the same day and this has given rise to much curiosity. Tulu movie producers association and the newly formed screening committee have come forward for talks to solve this ‘Date Problem’.
By the way, Tulu movie producers association was created about two years back and already many producers have become members of this association. Several senior members of the association have already designed the time table. Accordingly, a rule was made which states that a tulu movie will be released once every three weeks. Priority would be given to that movie whose censor has been done first.
