Speaking to reporters at Guthigaru, the minister said that it has been decided to launch a separate website for the booking online sevas at the Kukke temple.
The state government had decided to offer online sevas in 54 temples in the State. The contract for this was assigned to a company called Pure Prayer.
However, temple executives registered a complaint at the cyber crime cell against the company alleging that the company created a fake website of Kukke Subramanya temple and illegally booked sevas on them cheating many devotees.

Meanwhile, during the lockdown, many temples had started online darshan and seva services for devotees. It was alleged that Pure Prayer was involved in the digitization process of these temples.
