Kundapur: 40-year-old pedestrian killed in road mishap

Kundapur: A 40-year-old woman was killed after a lorry hit her while she was crossing the road at Tallur Circle, NH66 here on Monday, May 3 evening.

The deceased has been identified as Netravati Mogaveera, a resident of Sablady.

The accident took place while Netravati was returning home after buying medicines from the pharmacy.

Reportedly, the lorry dragged Netravati for some distance leaving her body mangled.

Local police have registered a case in this regard.
