Mahisha Vs Chalo: Mysuru Police clamp prohibitory order

A prohibitory order will be in effect in Mysuru city from midnight on Thursday, October 12 until Saturday, October 14 morning to ensure the peaceful conduct of Mahisha Dussehra and the Chamundi Betta Chalo programs scheduled at Chamundi Hill.

The Mysuru City Police Commissioner, Ramesh B, has issued this order as a precautionary measure.

The prohibitory orders enforced under Section 144, applies within the jurisdiction of the Police Commissionerate of Mysuru City, including Chamundi Hill.

During this period, activities such as processions, protests, rallies, chanting slogans, setting off fireworks, and open public gatherings are strictly prohibited to maintain law and order and ensure public safety.
