Malpe Fish Trade Center inauguration ceremony scheduled for Feb 5

The grand inauguration of the Malpe Fish Trade Center is set to take place on February 5 at 10:30 AM. The event will be presided over by MLA Yashpal Suvarna.

The inauguration will witness the participation of key figures,  Dr. G. Shankar, the director of the Ambalpadi G. Shankar Family Trust,  Min Mankal S. Vaidya, District-in-charge Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar, Former Minister Pramod Madhwaraj, Former MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Dr. L. Narasimhamurthy, CEO of the Hyderabad National Fisheries Development Board and others will be inaugurating various sectors of Malpe fish trade center.

The main guests include Dinesh Kallur, Director of Fisheries Department; Sudharma Shriyan; Anand C. Kundar; Hariyappa Kotyan; Anand P. Suvarna; Devadas Salyan; Ramesh Kanchan; Naqva Yahiya; Gopal C Bangera.

The inauguration ceremony will be followed by the presentation of various fishing association leaders, including Subhas Mendan, Nagaraj Suvarna, Mohan Kundar, Harishchandra Kanchan, Raghav G. Karkera, Dayakar V. Suvarna, Ganesh Kundar, Raviraj Suvarna, Nagaraj Kundar, Vijay Prakash, Bebi H. Shalyan, Sumithra Kundar, Sundari, municipal councilor Lakshmi Manjunath, Yogish V. Shalyan, Vijay Kodavoor, and Sundar J. Kalmadi.

The fish trade centre is a first-of-its-kind initiative that promises a modern and well-equipped fish market to serve the needs of the community. The facilities include dedicated parking, a lift for easy access, a spacious marketplace, and amenities such as a bathing area and restrooms.
