Man dies after being hit by a lorry

Kasargod: A man died after a tipper truck hit him near Cherkala on Friday.

An endosulfan affected man died after a tipper lorry hit him near Cherkala on February 23.

The deceased is identified as Khalid (37), an endosulfan victim.

The accisent occured when the victim was walking by the street.

Locals immediately shifted Khalid to a nearby hospital but he did not respond to treatment.

A case has been registered at Vidyanagar Police Station and the lorry has been taken into custody.
