The convenience of meal delivery to our homes by just swiping on a phone app has forever changed our lives. Simply look at the photo, read the item description, and place your order. That’s all there is to it.
However, even the most basic things can go wrong.
Kapil Wasnik of Nagpur, Maharashtra, claims he requested a cake from one of the city’s well-known bakeries. As a result, he placed an order with Swiggy.
He claims he sought clarification on one item while ordering what appears to be a chocolate cake: does the cake contain egg?

He tweeted, “In the order details I mentioned ‘Please mention if the cake contains egg’,”
What followed rendered him “speechless.”
“CONTAIN EGG,” says the sign on top of the cake, which is a delicious chocolate with cherries and whipped cream.
Perhaps the message could not be clearer. Alternatively, someone at the bakery was most likely working on autopilot.
You’d think this was a one-time occurrence. However, this is not the case.
Arun Nair, a Twitter user, responded to Mr Wasnik by posting a photo of the package he received in December of last year.
