The devotee is Shreyansh Jain, a native of Hirebail in Kalasa and a cattle lover.

During the pandemic, he started dairy farming and reared a cow of the indigenous Gir breed. He had then decided to offer the first offspring of the cow to Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala. Accordingly, he walked 360 km with the calf Bheeshma.

Shreyansh, a former student of SDM institutions is currently working for a company in Bengaluru along with engaging in dairy farming.

During his journey to Dharmasthala from Jigani, he did not take any leave and was working from a remote location. After a morning walk with the calf, he used to do his office work and then continue his foot march in the evening.

Many people helped him by offering him food for himself and his calf. He has spent only Rs 1,000 on his journey.

Shreyansh also got the calf checked in every village on the way and made sure Bheeshma was healthy.
