Mandya MP Sumalatha Ambareesh COVID-19 positive

Mandya: Member of Parliament from Mandya and wife of Kannada movie star Ambareesh, Sumalatha Ambareesh has tested positive for COVID-19.

The MP shared the news on social networking sites.

On Saturday, July 4, I had slight headache and sore throat. As I was constantly working on field and visited corona-affected areas, I tested myself for COVID-19. The test result has come positive today. I have consulted a doctor and am undergoing necessary treatment, she stated.

I have quarantined myself at home. I have enough immunity in me with all our blessings. I have provided the details of the persons whom I have met in recent days to the government officials.

In case if anyboy, who has met me, is suffering from any COVID-19 symptoms then please immediately get yourself tested for COVID-19, she added.
