Mangaluru: 16 nursing students fall ill after consuming 'contaminated water'

Mangaluru: As many as 16 nursing students of a private college in the city fell ill allegedly due to consuming contaminated water on Sunday evening.

The students developed symptoms of vomiting and diarrhoea. However, none were admitted to the hospital. Health officials said all the affected students have recovered.

Meanwhile, health officials said that food and water samples have been sent to the lab for determining the exact cause of the incident.
