Mangaluru: Amathe Vikram new SP of DK, Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagawan transferred

Mangaluru: The Karnataka government on Tuesday, January 31 transferred Dakshina Kannada superintendent of police Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagawan. He has been currently posted as SP of Intelligence.

Amathe Vikram will be replacing Rishikesh Bhagawan with immediate effect.

A 2015 batch officer Sonawane Rishikesh Bhagwan was serving as Yadgir SP prior to his posting in Mangaluru.

He was effective in solving the most difficult cases, such as the murder of Praveen Nettaru, and also played a crucial role in the successful management of Covid-19  and maintaining communal harmony in the district.
