Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested two persons from Mysuru in connection with the explosion that occurred in an autorickshaw on Saturday in the city.
It is said that the CCB officials along with the police raided a house in Mysuru’s Lok Nayak Nagar and arrested two Mangaluru-based suspects.
The suspects had allegedly given over 10 mobile phones to the accused involved in the auto-rickshaw blast. Further investigations are underway.
At around 4.30 pm on Saturday, a man boarded the auto-rickshaw at Nagori and asked the driver to go towards the Pumpwell. In between, there was an explosion. Mangled remains of a cooker were found in the rickshaw. Some parts inside the autorickshaw were burnt.
