Mangaluru: ‘Gruha Lakshmi’ launched

Mangaluru: A collaborative effort involving the district administration, Mangaluru Metropolitan Corporation, and the Women and Child Development Department has led to the inauguration of the Griha Lakshmi Yojana. The event took place on Wednesday, August 30, at the Kudmul Ranga Rao Town Hall in the city, with MLC Dr. Manjunath Bhandari, spearheading the initiative.

District Collector Mullai Mugilan MP, Deputy Director of Women and Child Welfare Department Papabhovi, DUDC Project Director Abhishek, Mangaluru Municipal Corporation Commissioner Anand, and other notable personalities graced the stage during the event.

Subsequently, Dr. Bhandari, along with numerous beneficiaries and members of the public, tuned in to the live telecast of the Griha Lakshmi Yojana launch program from Mysore. The event marked a significant step towards aiding hundreds of beneficiaries and promoting community participation.
