Mangaluru: Mangaluru South legislator D Vedavyas Kamath said that the Government Lady Goschen Hospital will be a model health centre in the coming days for other health centres in the state.
He said this after handing over stretchers and a potable drinking water unit donated by Micro Electrical Group of Companies at Lady Goschen Hospital.
Addressing the media, he said that along with the government aid, private participation is also equally important for the upgradation of the Lady Goschen Hospital.
The Mangalore Chemical and Fertilizers (MCF) and Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) have been extending their support for the cause and now the proprietor of Micro Electrical Company Dileep Jain provided a potable drinking unit worth Rs. 2 lakhs, he said.
