Mangaluru: Local artist's oil canvas painting reaches PM Modi

Mangaluru: During a road show in the city on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi graciously accepted his portrait an oil canvas from a local artist in the crowd.

Kiran, an artist from Thokkottu, had been waiting near Kodialbail with his creation, a picture of Prime Minister Modi measuring 24 inches high and 20 inches wide.

Kiran had arrived early and eagerly anticipated the Prime Minister’s arrival. When Modi’s cavalcade approached, Kiran held up the painting in hopes of drawing the PM’s attention. His gesture was not missed as the Prime Minister instructed his security team to accept the painting.

Reflecting on the moment, Kiran expressed surprise and gratitude that his painting had captured the Prime Minister’s attention amidst the bustling crowd. He described it as an “unforgettable experience” to have his artwork recognized by the Prime Minister.
