Mangaluru: PFI operated ‘Shaheen Gang’ to carryout ‘Love Jihad’, says NIA

Mangaluru: As the NIA is carrying out a detailed investigation on the banned outfit Popular Front of India (PFI), the investigative reports reveal that PFI was operating a women’s wing named “Shaheen Gang” to allegedly carry out “Love Jihad” targeting Hindu girls.

Sources say that PFI and its student wing Campus Front of India (CFI) were jointly carrying out the operation of allegedly trapping Hindu girls in the name of love and thereby carryout “Love Jihad”.

It is also learned that the “Shaheen Gang” was trained by PFI and was active in districts namely Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Kodagu, Shivamogga, and several others.

Meanwhile, the NIA sleuths along with the Bengaluru Police collected evidence about an alleged plot of creating riots like that of the “KJ Halli, DJ Halli riots” of Bengaluru in several districts. The officials visited the offices of the Mangaluru Police Commissioner and Superintendent of Police (SP) to collect the evidence.

As per the sources, the officials have collected information regarding the Mangaluru CAA protest and other riots.
