Mangaluru: Protest held against demolition of Kenjar Gaushala

Mangaluru: A protest was held under the support of Vande Mataram Gau Samrakshana Samiti against the demolition of Kenjar Gaushala on Thursday,  March 11 in front of the Mini Vidhana Soudha.

Gau Rakshana Samiti member, Anand Adyar, said, ” Someone has instigated the administration to destroy the Kenjar Gaushala. We demand it to be reconstructed at the same place. We respect Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. But, he has made some serious allegations against Prakash Shetty. Bhat claimed that Prakash Shetty is a butcher and sells cows. We demand an apology”

“Prakash Shetty is the one who donated cows to Kateel Brahmakalasha. If you have guts come to Kateel, not Dharmasathala to swear in front of God,” he added

Hitting out at Prabhakar Bhat, Member of the Samiti, Dinakar Shetty said, ”  It is not right to defame Prakash Shetty. The entire Hindu community is not yours and you are not the one who built Hindu Samaj. Hindu Samaj was built by Lord Shri Krishna and we follow the principles of Lord Shri Rama”

He further said, ” Nalin Kumar Kateel always talks about Cows in his speech, now we know what Kateel meant. He said ‘go far away from the cows and destroy the Gau Shala if it is illegal’

Sunil Bajilakeri, Member of the Gau Rakshana Samiti, said, “MLAs of Dakshina Kannada garnered votes in the name of cows”

“Where are they now? Where is their ‘Gau prema’?,” he questioned
