Mangaluru: Sacred relics from Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi distribution commences

Mangaluru:  A ceremony marking the commencement of the distribution of ‘sacred relics’ brought from Ayodhya’s Sri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage site was held in Mangaluru on Monday.

The ceremonial rituals were led by Sri Vidyendra Teerthapada at the Balambhat Hall.

Earlier the relics were received at the Sharavu Mahaganapati Temple.

Dignitaries including M.B. Puranik, P.S. Prakash, H.K. Purushottam, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLAs Vedavyas Kamath, and Bharath Shetty, among others, were present.
