Mangaluru: Shop gutted in fire incident at Bengre

Mangaluru: A massive fire engulfed a shop located at Bengre in the city late on the night of May 15.

The fire was noticed in the Mogaveera store of the city belonging to Geetha around 2 am. The shop and the goods stored were gutted in the blaze, causing an estimated loss of Rs 8 lakhs.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.

The blaze was later put out with the help of the fire brigade.
