Manipal Group of Hospitals in Manipal Close OPDs to Express Solidarity with IMA

Manipal: Kasturba Hospital, Manipal in a press statement said that, the out-patient department (OPD) of the Kasturba Hospital, Manipal, Dr T M A Pai Hospital, Udupi and Dr T M A Pai Rotary Hospital Karkala will not function from Thursday, November 16.

This is to express solidarity with the Indian Medical Association's (IMA) call to protest against the Karnataka Private Medical Establishments (Amendment) Bill, 2017. In a statement Dr (Col) Dayananda, Medical Superintendent and COO said that, “only the emergency services in these hospitals will remain unaffected. Inconvenience caused to patients is regretted.”
