Manipal Energy and Infratech Limited (MEIL) bags “India 5000 Awards”

Manipal Energy and Infratech Limited (MEIL), headquartered in Manipal, Karnataka, has been selected for the prestigious “India 5000 Awards” in the MSME category for its quality and excellence.

The award acknowledges MEIL’s overall development in the fiscal year 2023-24, considering customer satisfaction, service, management, and social impact. The award ceremony will be held on December 21 in Navi Mumbai, in the presence of senior industrialists.

Established in 2011 under the esteemed banner of ‘The Manipal Group’, MEIL stands as a distinguished EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) company. This recognition was conferred based on an evaluation by Benchmark Trust, conducted with audit partner TQV, supported by the Bombay Stock Exchange.

MEIL provides comprehensive solutions encompassing design, supply, construction, installation, servicing, testing, and commissioning of turnkey projects. It serves as a singular point of contact for diverse requirements spanning electrical, instrumentation, and allied civil works essential for power utilities, industrial ventures, petrochemicals, railways, solar initiatives, and infrastructure projects.

At its core, MEIL boasts a cadre of proficient engineers, complemented by skilled supervisors, technicians, and a committed labor force. The company is steered by seasoned engineers with extensive experience in managing large-scale turnkey projects. The company’s total annual growth rate has increased by 48% over the past three years, escalating from a revenue of Rs. 38 crore in FY 2020-21 to Rs. 179 crore in FY 2023-24. MEIL has significantly contributed to job creation through the implementation of public infrastructure projects across the country. According to Manipal Group’s Executive President, T. Gautam Pai, the company is advancing rapidly with financial growth and robust infrastructure essential for a cohesive community.

MEIL has been recognized for its implementation of prestigious government projects, including energy distribution, transportation, and civil construction. According to Managing Director and CEO Sagar Mukhopadhyay, long-term plans include irrigation, water and environmental projects, road and transport projects, and international ventures.

Sagar Mukhopadhyay highlighted that the award reflects the hard work of the team, vendor network support, customer backing, and cooperation from financial institutions like Canara Bank and Kotak Bank.
