M’luru City Corp’s contract worker files harassment complaint against officials

Mangaluru: A female contract employee of the City Corporation here has filed a case of harassment against two officials in the Corporation with the Department of Women and Child Welfare.

The woman has been working at the Corporation on contract for more than 14 years.

She has alleged in her complaint that a superintendent engineer, as well as an assistant executive engineer, has been harassing her over work-related issues.

It was reported that the officials have been subject of many complaints by past contract workers of the Corporation.

The officials have were accused of cussing and unjustly treating most contract workers.
