M'luru origin woman kills son, commits suicide in Bengaluru house

 

Bengaluru: A 36-year-old woman hailing from Mangaluru allegedly died by suicide after killing her son at their rented apartment under the limits of Hulimavu police station.

The deceased are identified as Rohini Shetty (36) and her son Siyan Shetty (5).

Rohini took the drastic step on April 17 when her husband Praveen was out at work. It is gathered that Rohini was suffering from depression following the demise of her mother 12 years ago and had attempted suicide on three previous occasions.

Hulimavu police registered a case in this regard.
