Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in Mysuru city on Sunday evening. He was accompanied by former ministers K S Eshwarappa, Ramdas, and MP Pratap Simha.
PM Modi arrived at Mysuru’s Maharaja College ground by helicopter. Thereafter, he began the roadshow from Gun House via the Rajamarga where the Dasara Jumboo Savari procession passes through.
When the vehicle carrying PM Modi reached Chikkagadiyara on the route, a mobile phone was chucked at him along with the flower petals. The mobile phone reportedly hit the vehicle, in front of PM Modi, and fell to the ground. The alert security personnel picked it up later.
Security personnel were on high alert all over the city for PM MOdi’s visit. It is learnt that the police are investigating the mobile phone incident.

This was not the only instance of a mobile phone being thrown at the Prime Minister during a roadshow. A similar incident was reported during PM’s roadshow at Kerala’s Kochi, where an SPG official stopped a mobile phone chucked from reaching its target.
Due to paucity of time, the roadshow ended at Highway Circle.
