More than 640 people across 11 states in the US have been infected with Cyclospora.
According to a report by CNN news, Out of those infected in the outbreak of Cyclospora, 37 were hospitalized and no deaths have been reported yet
The outbreak is potentially linked to bagged salad products. The bagged salads contained iceberg lettuce, red cabbage and carrots.
Cyclospora is a microscopic parasite that affects the intestinal tract and causes diarrhea that can last for more than a month.
