Muslim devotee wears Ayyappa mala, sets example of communal harmony

Raichur: In a remarkable gesture of communal harmony, a Muslim man from Devadurga town, Babu Gourampet, has donned the sacred Ayyappa mala.

Babu joins numerous Hindu devotees observing the annual pilgrimage to Sabarimala during Makar Sankranti.

Notably, Babu offers prayers at the Sabarimala temple every year after following the customary rituals and  undertaking the sacred journey.

His act of devotion has garnered appreciation from the public, standing as an example of unity and religious inclusivity.
