My son Darshan is good-natured boy: Rudrappa Lamani

Haveri: “My son Darshan is a good-natured boy. He just finished his BA. He had left saying that he wants to take admission to do LLB. However, now his arrest by the police in connection with the drugs case is saddening, said former minister Rudrappa Lamani.

Speaking to reporters, Lamani said that he did not know much about his son being arrested in the drug case. He had gone to Goa with his friends. Some of his friends in Bengaluru received a parcel. The friends stated his name. Police have arrested him and are investigating the matter. I do not want to talk much about it now. Will give more answers in the coming days.

Darshan Lamani resides in Ranibennur and was overseeing his father’s business. Rudrappa Lamani was the MLA from the Haveri SC assembly constituency and was the Minister of Muzrayi and Textiles in the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government.
